Pentecost — From Disciples To Living Epistles
By Pastors   June 17th, 2016

Last Sunday we were blessed to have Dani and Debbie Oliveira, pastors of Hale O Nā Kāula Church, in our service. Debbie helped lead us in worship and Dani ministered a Word. Here is a video of that Word.

The Lord has been speaking a Living Word, and it’s about you. He has been faithful to prepare and create in you the power to be a mighty people, but something has to trigger that potential.

On the Day of Pentecost, the disciples received a relationship with the Holy Spirit and began walking as apostles in the Word He had spoken over them. Before He ascended, Jesus washed the disciples feet, and told them, “If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you” (John 13:14).

We, likewise, must wash each other’s feet. Let the Holy Spirit transform and renew our minds. It is time to begin seeing ourselves according to the words the Lord has spoken over us. We are the arrows in His quiver, the precious jewels in His crown, and we must relate to each other in this way. Say, “Goodbye, yesterday.” We are not disciples anymore; now we are sent. Now we must reveal the One that sent us.

Scriptures: John 13:1-15, 21:17; Luke 22:31-32.
